Located in Cobb Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs' Kennworth Park, North Cobb Senior Center can be found set in amongst the trees, overlooking manicured ball fields and lit tennis courts.

This Center opened it's doors in February of 2003 and is the first combination Multipurpose and Neighborhood Center for Cobb Senior Services. It serves seniors age 55 and above in the Multipurpose Center and seniors age 60 and above in the Neighborhood Center.

As you walk through the front doors, the Center's design and furnishings create a welcoming atmosphere. Friendly faces greet you and our staff will show you to the activities or programs in which you are interested. Come, have a tour and get involved in what's happening at North Cobb. We'll be seeing you!

Multipurpose Center

Bridge, Focus on Fitness, woodcarving, and Line Dancing are a few of the things you can get involved in. Clubs for hikers, photographers, and book lovers are also available.  We have activities for just about everyone. Join us for our daily, weekly, and monthly gatherings at the Center.

No transportation is provided for the Multipurpose Center participants, but adequate parking space is available

Neighborhood Center
Cobb County residents age 60 and better enjoy structured group activities and programs such as music, crafts, exercise, and special events. Each weekday a hot, nutritious lunch is served in a personal, friendly atmosphere. Nutrition and health/wellness eduational programs are also offered.

Door-to-door transportation can be provided based on eligibility.

An assessment is conducted, and eligibility is determined based on need. Call the Center for details.
