Located in Cobb Parks and Recreations' Kennworth
Park, North Cobb Senior Center can be found set in amongst the
trees, overlooking manicured ball fields and lit tennis courts.
This Center opened it's doors in February of 2003 and is the
first combination Multipurpose and Neighborhood Center for Cobb
Senior Services. It serves seniors age 55 and above in the Multipurpose
wing, and seniors age 60 and above in the Neighborhood wing.
As you walk through the front doors at North Cobb, the Center's
design and furnishings create a welcoming atmosphere. Friendly
faces greet you and our staff will show you to the activities
or programs in which you are interested. Come, have a tour and
get involved in what's happening at North Cobb. We'll be seeing
you!
On the Multipurpose Wing
Bridge, Focus on Fitness, Woodcarving, Ballroom and Line Dancing
are a few of the things you can get involved in. Clubs, such
as the Golden "K" Kiwanis, Red Hat Society, and Celebrity
Singles are starting up every day. AARP holds Defensive Driving
classes and there is an Honor Library for you to browse and
check out!
On the Neighborhood Wing
