Inclement
Weather Policy:
When Cobb
County Schools are closed due to inclement weather, Multipurpose
Center- sponsored classes, special events and programs will
be postponed to a later date. The Center will be opened
for drop-in activities (billiards, library) if staff can safely
open the Center; call to confirm.

Located on 15 acres in
the historical Covered Bridge area of South Cobb, the tree
lined driveway offers a warm inviting welcome to C. Freeman
Poole Center. The Center is located near the Silver Comet
Trail Concord Road location and East/West Connector in a lush
setting of protected wetlands and beautiful forest.
The Multipurpose Center provides a variety of social, recreational
and educational programs for active seniors 55 and over. Activities
include exercise, line dancing, billiards, various card groups,
woodcarving, and art classes. Computer classes are also offered.
Numerous groups meet at the Center including A.A.R.P., National
Association of Retired Veteran Railway Employees (N.A.R.V.R.E.)
and West Metro Ambassadors (Georgia Power Retirees).

Senior Services transportation is not provided,
but adequate parking space is available at all Centers.
