Learn how to raise Monarch butterflies and create a "Monarch Waystation” in your own garden. Monarchs follow the same migration patterns every year, traveling up to three thousand miles. They are the only butterflies to make such a long, two-way migration. Amazingly, they fly in masses to the same winter roosts, often to the exact same trees. Cobb County is in that migration path. Learn about their annual transatlantic trip to Mexico, their tenacity as a species, issues that are endangering their existence, and what you can do to help.
