Nestled in a unique campus-like community setting, East Cobb Senior Center is adjacent to Mt. View Library, The Art Place, Mt. View Community Center, and the newly completed Aquatic Center. The lodge-like 19,000 square foot facility is approximately 1/2 mile south of the intersection of Shallowford and Sandy Plains Roads, providing convenient and easy access.

The Multipurpose Center's inviting exterior architecture extends indoors welcoming all to a light, exposed beamed two-story lobby. An inviting atrium area overlooks picturesque woodlands. Special features include a 900 sq. foot parquet dance floor, regulation billiards tables; a ventilated art room; computer room; classroom; two multipurpose rooms; a library and Grand Hall.

The Center provides an array of social, recreational an educational programs for active seniors over 55. Mini seminars and classes are offered quarterly. Activities including senior club meetings are ongoing daily. Special events are offered monthly, such as, day trips, center anniversaries, dances and social activities.

Senior Services transportation is not provided, but adequate parking space is available at all centers.
